Your Role:
As a Backend Developer at 360Player, you'll play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining the backbone of our cutting-edge platform. Focused on privacy and security,you'll contribute to the development of tools that facilitate seamless communication, effective leadership, and individual growth in football. Collaborating with a talented team, you'll help shape a global product that empowers sports organizations at every level.
A subset of your tasks at 360Player will be feature development together with the product team, building, scaling, and maintaining our infrastructure. Setting up monitoring and alerts for our systems, improving CI processes and much more.
What You'll Do:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make impactful decisions in a global product environment.
· Develop backend services using Go and SQL Server, prioritizing efficiency, security,and readability.
· Take ownership of various backend services, from database management tools to the core API service.
· Contribute to the documentation of backend services, aiding frontend developers in their work.
· Uphold the highest standards of privacy and security, considering long-term consequences.
· Embrace opportunities to learn and adopt new technologies that enhance our product.
What We're Looking For:
· 5+years of backend development experience across multiple languages.
· Experience of Terraform or other “Infrastructure as Code” systems, setting up and scaling a distributed infrastructure.
· Proficiency in Go and a solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
· Familiarity with distributed systems and version control.
· Experience integrating with financial systems such as Stripe.
· Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
· Experience in working with version control and in product development.
· Knowledge of Docker and Azure is a bonus.
· Passion for maintaining a healthy work/life balance while delivering top-notch results.
